Design Your Own Promotional Materials

What if I told you that you could design flyers, social media images, edit photos, and customize any promotional material your organization could ever need? That you don’t need to have any graphic design experience like Photoshop or Illustrator… And it would be FREE?? I have years of experience with graphic design programs and I still use Canva 99% of the time.

Canva is an awesome tool and nonprofits are eligible to use it for free! It has everything you could possibly dream of. You make a new file and select what you want to use it for and it will automatically make it the correct dimensions. Whether you want to make Instagram posts, Facebook posts, presentations, flyers for events, or edit graphics for your organization’s website Canva has you covered.

Another really cool feature that Canva offers for their Pro version is that you can make a link to your design that will allow others with Pro to edit it. I like to supply customers with promotional material for Holiday Gift Shop, Carnivals, etc.. and now you can even personalize it to your liking! Simply add your school name and any details you would like and voila – professional quality marketing in just a few minutes!

In order to get the Pro version for free you need to do a few things but it’s very easy. 1. Fill out their application. 2. They verify that your Non-Profit is eligible. 3. You’ll get an e-mail confirmation. I have zero affiliation with Canva other than being a very satisfied customer. MANY of my customers are already using Canva Pro and I highly suggest you do too!
